Buckingham Palace Garden Party on 8th May 2024

His Holiness Gangri Karma Rinpoche was invited to attend the Garden Party at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday, 8th May 2024. We were delighted and honoured to attend this special event at Buckingham Palace.

His Majesty King Charles III welcomed guests to the first Royal Garden Party of 2024. He was accompanied by Queen Camilla, Princess Anne, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, as well as the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.

On the day, the sun beamed down on the lawns of Buckingham Palace, while white clouds drifted slowly across the blue canvas of the sky, moving from one end of the palace to the other. The guests’ faces were filled with joy and delight as they enjoyed tea and cake.

Buckingham Palace Garden Party invitations are extended to nominated guests who have been recognised for their outstanding contributions in their fields, including public service, voluntary work, and community service. It was a great pleasure to meet distinguished religious representatives, mayors, councillors, officers, doctors, and charity representatives.
