2020 Martsang Kagyu Lama Chopa Puja

Martsang Kagyu Lama Chopa Puja is a practice of guru devotion specific to the Martsang Kagyu tradition of Tibetan Buddhism.

The founder of Martsang Kagyu lineage, Choje Marpa Sherab Yeshe accomplished the achievement of Buddhahood in the pure land of Akshobhya Buddha and promoted the Buddhist teachings of Ten sides and three circles.

This year the Martsang Kagyu School of Tibetan Buddhism is 854 years old and once a year the Lama Chopa puja takes place to remember the Gurus' compassion & contribution to sentient beings. During COVID 19, our disciples' health and safety is of the utmost importance to Martsang Kagyu London Buddhist Centre. Due to this issue, sadly it was not possible to meet each other in person on the day of the Martsang Kagyu Lama Chopa puja, rather His Holiness performed the puja at his retreat room and in honor we joined the puja online.
