Meditations for Mental Health and Wellbeing

Meditation is a simple, fast and easy way to reduce stress. Help to relax your mind and body by practicing meditation starting with just 5 minutes a day. 

Whether you're new to meditation or familiar with the practice you are most welcome to join our free meditation classes. Our highly qualified teachers will be teaching 5 times a week so why not book a slot that’s convenient for you now. Please remember that you are always welcome to join our quality meditation classes that start on 10th December 2022.

A regular mindfulness practice can help with problems including insomnia, stress, depression, anxiety and worry.  Meditation and mindfulness skills and knowledge are highly beneficial for both emotional healing and mental wellbeing. Mindfulness also helps us focus our mind on the present moment making us more productive in our daily lives. There are also many studies that have highlighted how mindfulness makes us more caring, patient and compassionate which results in improvements in our relationships both at work and at home. 

Our classes are open to everyone from a diverse range of backgrounds, religion, non-religion ethnicity and culture, all of whom will benefit from mediation. We provide meditation classes in English, Mandarin, and Polish, so there are a few languages to choose from!

Meditation classes are as follows,

Tuesday - 10:00AM-11:00AM (In Mandarin)

Tuesday- 11:15AM-12:00AM (in Mandarin)

Wednesday- 9:30am -10:30am

Wednesday - 7:00PM-8:00PM

Thursday - 7:00pm-8:ooPM (In Polish)

Sunday - 10:00AM-11:00AM (this class will start later and it will take place on 8th January 2023)

“The classes have proved invaluable, my accident is the perfect example. In January I was biking my two children to school, hit the ice and we went down with the bike crushing my ankle and leg. I immediately knew it was broken, though I hoped I was wrong. I remained calm and practiced mini meditations, focussing on my breathing for 20 seconds or so and then returned to the moment to focus on my boys until help arrived. It worked and with my pain managed I was able to speak with my young children and keep them calm. It helped throughout my early recovery and beyond. I remained positive and calm throughout (with a few momentary exceptions). I believe that is largely due to my meditation and the perspective that comes from it. I have been attending meditation sessions with Jake since the end of 2019, first in person and then online since Covid began.
